Module Overview
In this section of the module, participants will have the opportunity to explore core objectives and expected learning outcomes which will involve gaining a comprehensive understanding of the scope and diversity of the nursing profession, including education and licensing requirements in the UK. Additionally, participants will define the roles and responsibilities of nurses in healthcare and gain insight into the professional values and ethical principles of professional nursing. The module will also delve into different career opportunities in nursing and help prospects develop essential career preparation skills.
There are no requirements or prerequisites to enroll in this module, making it accessible to individuals with no prior experience or knowledge. The module is particularly designed for aspiring nurses, pre-registered nurses, pre-nursing students, career changers or transitioning healthcare professionals, and non-UK-trained nurses.
